Siesta City

Wealthy philanthropist Harry Dick takes a refreshing nap after spending a morning lobbying for human rights. What a humanitarian! Way to go, Harry Dick!

  4. these kinds of pictures do not tell me anything else other than your intensions are to make the an example of those who obviously have problems. Your pictures are offending and ignorant not to only a Thompsonite like myself but as an aboriginal person. I have seen other cities who also have people on the streets but still paint a different picture. You obviously did not have permission to post these pictures and that my friend is a privacy act...it is also unfortunate that these people are not aware of that act...instead of poking fun at these individuals, why not open your heart and mind and hold out your hand to help not walk past taking pictures and doing what we both know your pictures were intended to do..

  5. Thompson has a long history of wealthy folks napping mid day. Not likely that it will change anytime soon. One learns to just step over them and occasionally snap that picture for future reference. I now live i Winnipeg and see the same issues but unfortunately suffered by the same culture. There is a trend there. Just saying.
